What's up??

The funny thing about a BLOG is, the people who have nothing to do are on them all the time. If you are busy, it's hard to get in to update. Problem is, I want to see what the busy people are doing. You know, the people with a life that actually play sax and work in music. I never see them online. They are too busy and not that interested.

I am trying to get over for a quick update every few days. I look at the frequency and see I am failing horribly; my apologies.  Too dang busy again.

So the quick update -

Shannons CD basic tracks are done. Some overdubs have been finished and I did a quick (all day) mix on 2 tracks that she brought with her to a festival in Vegas this weekend. It is sounding really nice and I hope to get it done soon for her.

I am finishing my 05 taxes and what a drag that is on the schedule.

Shannon has stoped working on the Greg Vail site so nothing is getting done there while she finishes her CD. My new CD is on hold but still hoping to get it out this year. The new sites are started and I will be getting a new Christmas site up and new CD sites soon. I have many lofty goals and only 24 hours a day to play with, so back to the real work and happy Labor Day for you USA peoples!!

Blessings,
SAXBOY Greg

Great to see your blog and I love the url. Great job Greg. We have a mutual friend - Frank Parenteau. Tell him I said hello.

I am praying for a Selmer Mark VI Tenor. I sold mine when I gave my life to the Lord in 1981 thinking that I would never be able to use it for the Lord (my church was VERY narrow). I am praying that God would give back to me what I gave to him 25 years ago.

Now I am back playing jazz in a couple of bands here in town and "piercing the darkness" as Erwin would say. I also play in brassline here at the church - wow how groovy!

I have to get back to work. Keep up the good work for the Kingdom!
