The Recent Concerts have been GREAT!

The Recent Concerts have been GREAT!

WOW! The Saddleback Worship Conference has been going great again this year! The event started Tuesday with an opening session that I got to play. Very high energy and great music! Later I played the noon concert with David Pack, former lead singer for Ambrosia.

The gig went great! David is a total pro and the band was all top notch. Tom Brooks Keys, Melvin Davis Bass, Tom Dante Drums, Greg Vail Sax, David Pack Vox and Guitar, Emily Gomez Vox, Dave and Tim Davis Vox. The turn out was great and we really had a fun show.

Today I had the Noon slot. Greg Vail Jazz with me on Sax, Rob Whitlock Organ, Melvin Davis Bass, Tom Dante Drums, Stephan Lexner Guitar and Tony Guerrero Trumpet. The band is all serious pros and it sounded like it. Special thanks to Christine Faye for Pictures, Nathan Rustvold for roaming video shots, Bobby Cruz for the use of his video camera and big time help before we started, and Ron Alyra for doing an incredible job mixing the gig!

I have a little more to do tomorrow and then 2007 worship conference wraps up that evening. It has been a good year again!

Last fun show for the week is coming tomorrow night. I have a new band – Sidemen Inc. We have been busting on some new tunes and the band is sounding really tight. We play at Spaghettini in Seal Beach CA starting at 7:30 PM. I love this new project and hope it continues to develop until we are all pleasantly surprised.

That's it for now.
