Smooth Jazz Classics CD UPDATE
Great news on the new CD. Tony Guerrero and I got the art work done and delivered early this week and yesterday I received the mastered disc from Steve Hall at Future Discs and drove them up to Alta Dena to start manufacturing! This means everything is now delivered and being made as I write this post!! This is really excititng. The deadline is supposed to be no problem and I should have discs available by months end.
I still have to get the forms filled with ASCAP and deal with the licensing for the material, but have a few weeks to get the rest of the business stuff worked out before the pre-release sales could even be an issue.
The KSBR BASH will be the unofficial release, both by date and event. The BASH this year is going to be huge for Greg Vail Music! If you are a local Southern California type person, mark your calendars for May 25th, 2008. go to KSBR.net and order your tickets today. This is an all star event with some of the biggest names in Smooth Jazz and Instrumental music in attendance. You don't want to miss this!

The CD is called - strange enough - Smooth Jazz Classics. That's the name and the name is what it is - Smooth Jazz Classics!
I think the cover is in the blog, here, down a few posts to see. It is also in the player on my space, but not big enough to really read or anything.

It will be available on the 25th at the BASH for the KSBR Birthday concert and fund raiser. KSBR,net has all the information online.

Hey Marisa, Sorry for the slow response. I have been really busy with CD stuff and am in way over my head.
The CD can be ordered off my website once I get the PayPal stuff set up for it. I will have product for the 25th gig and will get the links up probably the first of June. It will be easy to order online but only available thru me for a few months.
Eventually it will be all over the web like the other CDs but it takes a few months to get it all set up. Then I will be scheduling an official release date and starting radio promotion to get it on the air too. I'm guessing August will be the full roll out with radio, online stores and a publicist working print and review activities.
Hope you take a minute to order after the first and give me your comments for the web press stuff. So much to do and soooo much riding on this one!
