Celbration Time again in 2008!
Hey Guys and Gals, Greg Vail here and very blessed again today! I have been watching the You Tube numbers, guessing we would see a new milestone this weekend and it just came! I have 22 Videos up on You Tube and the total views just hit 75,000 in less than 8 months! I am very excited about this since the views come from all over the world, and often I am more popular in cool exotic places than in the US. Some videos have been huge in Brazil or Madagascar! Some weeks the countries listed are so cool I can't believe that sax clips are being watched there too! 75,000 Views!!!! How cool is that!
In other search related news - I have been talking about my Christmas CDs a lot and been working on search engines to get high rank for you-all searching different Christmas CD and Sax related search terms. Check this out! Just searched Christmas Jazz Saxophone CDs (as an example) and found I have most of the top 10 results on GOOGLE for today. Search results are changing all the time, but I love seeing the fruit of my labors and wanted to share with you-all.

Although I am selling very little by way of product these days, at least there is tons of opportunities for people to find the music and lots of traffic and spins on You Tube and on the overall network of sites with people listening, enjoying, and coming back to listen some more to the CDs and Videos! With Holiday searches and all, the site meters go crazy pushing 200,000 page views and maybe 30 gigs of bandwidth from just sites and audio. This is not including Socials which have really taken off this year too!
SO, I am praying that CD sales will pick up as Christmas approaches, but do want to say I am really happy that the online efforts of the past few years continue to grow and develop!!
We really only have a safe 2 weeks of December for Shipping for Christmas Day deadlines, so I would like to encourage you to think December 15th and iTunes as December gets going. All Greg Vail CDs are on iTunes and you can always next day from Amazon or CD Baby, but it can cost almost as much as the CD itself. Shipping is free from Greg Vail Music on any CD order but only covers standard USPS First Class shipping in the US.
